LevelTen Energy Report: INVITAIC Boosts BIPV Tech in 2024 for North American Clean Energy Growth

Recent findings from the LevelTen Energy Quarterly Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Pricing Index, covering the entirety of 2023, underscore the vitality and potential of the North American clean energy market. The report highlights a 3% increase in P25 prices in the fourth quarter and a notable 15% rise throughout the year. These trends are attributed to regulatory adjustments, market dynamics, and heightened demand from buyers.

In the context of the U.S. solar market, the report paints a nuanced picture. P25 prices in the CAISO region (California Independent System Operator) experienced a significant 15% surge, while other markets witnessed a decline.

According to LevelTen Energy analyst Sam Mumford, these price hikes are likely influenced by regulatory shifts, market conditions, and increased buyer demand. The surge in CAISO, in particular, may be driven by select developers pricing projects higher than the previous quarter’s P25 prices, possibly accounting for expectations around capital costs or future Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) values.

Against this backdrop, INVITAIC announces its commitment to vigorously develop Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) technology in North America throughout 2024. Although INVITAIC did not directly contribute to the data in the LevelTen Energy report, the company pledges to play a significant role in advancing BIPV technology to meet the growing demand for clean energy.

A spokesperson for INVITAIC states, “We are confident in the future development of the North American clean energy market. In 2024, our focus will be on the substantial expansion of BIPV technology, making a greater contribution to sustainable construction and the rising demand for clean energy.”

INVITAIC’s commitment demonstrates its steadfast dedication to innovation in clean energy technology, providing North America with more green and sustainable solutions. This initiative foreshadows a future of increased innovation in the clean energy sector.
